In the former building of the Guard Battalion, you will find the newly renovated hotel and Wilczy Szaniec Restaurant – a perfect place for visitors exploring local attractions and an excellent base for those seeking relaxation in the Masurian forests. The facility underwent a complete renovation and officially reopened in August 2025. The hotel rooms and interiors are styled to reflect the 1940s and refer in design to the historical atmosphere of the Headquarters.
During the summer season, an Euronet ATM is available on-site for guests’ convenience.

Planning an overnight stay under the stars in a historic setting? The Wolf’s Lair campground in Gierłoż is the perfect destination for nature lovers, caravanning enthusiasts, and history buffs. It offers affordable rates and essential amenities. Below is the detailed price list per night:
Daily Fees:
- Camper van or caravan: 35 PLN per night (VAT included)
- Passenger car or minibus: 15 PLN per night
- Motorcycle: 10 PLN per night
- Tent setup: 25 PLN per night
- Adult: 25 PLN per night
- Children, school pupils, students (with valid ID): 20 PLN per night
The price includes a peaceful campsite surrounded by the Masurian forest and the opportunity to freely explore the historic grounds of the Wolf’s Lair.
Additional Services:
- Campfire (one-time fee): 100 PLN – includes preparation of the fire site.
- Rental of the projection room (up to 3 hours): 200 PLN – ideal for group presentations, lectures, or meetings.
- Rental of the projection room (08:00–20:00): 500 PLN – full-day reservation with access to multimedia equipment.
Note: All prices include VAT. Campsite and projection room bookings can be made via phone or email. For larger groups, individual arrangements are possible.

Located in the heart of the Masurian forest, on the grounds of the Wolf’s Lair in Gierłoż, you’ll find a unique hotel restaurant set in a former bunker – once the headquarters of the Guard Battalion.
